Ngati Kahungunu Iwi Incorporated no longer has an iwi 'Hauora Board' to deal with the health issues in Kahungunu. Rather we have engaged in a Maori Relationship with the Hawkes Bay District Health by way of representation on the advocacy committees within the DHB. A Maori Relationship Board of maori members on each of the advocacy committees will meet regularly to improve communications for the well being of our people.
