Hikoi for Health Team Monitoring

We have now come to the conclusion of the Iwi Hikoi for Health Challenge which was launched on Tuesday the 3rd of May to coincide with last years Hikoi to Parliament.

We were financially prepared to register 500 members, each pack including a pedometer, a drink bottle, a personal tracking card and lots of information about walking to maintain a healthier lifestyle.

As time has progressed, a whopping 930 persons have registered interest with 600 + using pedometers to monitor the steps and kilometers they are walking each day. Already we have seen much progress in the lives of many participants.

Team Results

James has been really busy over the past few weeks, collating the data that is coming in from the team co-ordinators. 57% of registered teams with pedometers have started returning results to Ngati Kahungunu.
