The cost of the Tihei Kahungunu Booklet and accompanying CD of Moteatea is $15.00. This booklet can be purchased from the Ngati Kahungunu Iwi Incorporated Office and other authorized offices for $15.00.

Conditions for sale

The Tihei Kahungunu booklet and CD is to be sold as a package deal for $15.00. There are no discounts for purchasing the books in bulk. As the Tihei Kahungunu Booklet is a Kahungunu resource and has been developed to support the progress and survival of Kahungunutanga, we ask that the book not be on-sold for profit or commercial gain.

Intellectual Property Rights Statement

In the course of research and intellectual activity, whanau may recall dormant knowledge, or 'intellectual property', which may be shared with the wider iwi.  In these cases, the iwi will not normally claim ownership of these.  In the course of their work however, staff, contractors, and agents of Ngati Kahungunu Iwi Inc. will create materials using that knowledge specifically for Kahungunu reo resources. In these cases, the iwi organisation claims the intellectual property rights so that it can use the intellectual property, and explore its future potential, for the benefit of the wider iwi. This policy expresses these practices in detail, and particularly addresses the rights, responsibilities and protections that are associated with intellectual property.
