The Hikoi for Health Tollemartians

The Tollemartians are workers from the Tollemache Orchard Packhouse in Hastings. From day one this group of eager people have dedicated their time and effort to ensuring they plan their day to include a hikoi for health.

Kerry Weston of the Hawke's Bay Public Health Unit saw a great opportunity to sponsor this team and purchase Walk the Talk TShirts with the slogan - Healthy Eating - Healthy Activity printed on the back, to encourage healthier lifestyles.

Team Coordinator Vaine Wilson has commented on wonderful progress that has taken place over the past four weeks.

If anyone goes to the Tollemache Orchard they will see team progress sheets, information about pedometers, information about midway challenges and so much more. This team is really dedicated to the kaupapa of the Hikoi.

This kind of change in lives is what makes the kaupapa all worthwhile.
