2015 Education Scholarship Recipients Announced

 

• Ngāti Kahungunu Iwi Incorporated acknowledges that education is the key to personal, whānau, hapū and iwi development. 

 

• This years application round opened on the 10th February and closed on 11th May 2015.

 

• Scholarships were advertised through the iwi communications network including panui ki te iwi, Te Reo Irirangi O Ngāti Kahungunu and information was posted on the Ngāti Kahungunu Iwi Incorporated website;

 

• A total of 85 applications were received on time. 71 General and 14 Research;

 

• A thorough filtering process took place in accordance with the Ngāti Kahungunu Iwi Inc. Scholarship Criteria Policy.

 

• 33 tauira will receive $500 each, 3 Research tauira will receive $5,000
