Ngāti Kahungunu Iwi Incorporated acknowledges that education is the key to personal, whānau, hapū and iwi development. 

This years application round opened on the 10th February and closed on 11th May 2015.

Scholarships were advertised through the iwi communications network including panui ki te iwi, Te Reo Irirangi O Ngāti Kahungunu and information was posted on the Ngāti Kahungunu Iwi Incorporated website;

A total of 85 applications were received on time. 71 General and 14 Research;

A thorough filtering process took place in accordance with the Ngāti Kahungunu Iwi Inc. Scholarship Criteria Policy.

33 tauira will receive $500 each, 3 Research tauira will receive $5,000
