Things for kids to do at home

A Message of hope and TIPS from Aunty Ra

Well week one for me, and I am pretty much over it!  I am hoha with my 9 & 11 year old kids and their screen time and so i have been looking at what they could do. So, here are a few activity ideas that may help other whānau out there.

Play old school games

Hopscotch, knucklebones (with stones – or totally cool if you can get actual knucklebones) or elastics anyone? Your mum, aunty or nan will remember how to play these games, but they would have lost their skills by now – you’ll probs be able to wipe the floor with them!
