Ngāti Kahungunu Iwi Incorporated is the mandated organisation representing Ngāti Kahungunu and acts as the governing body for all iwi development.

Governance Board

A governing board leads Ngāti Kahungunu Iwi Incorporated, made up of elected representatives from the six Kahungunu regions, two Taura Here members, a kaumātua representative, and the chairperson. The board meets regularly to set priorities and guide the organisation, with all governance carried out under the constitution.
